Learning Objectives

At the end of this educational activity, the participant will be able to:

• Recognize when osteoporosis is a factor in a patient's fracture;
• Determine a systematic course of therapy following fracture; and
• Develop an appropriate strategy for preventing additional osteoporotic fractures and maintaining a good quality of life for the patient.
